Our Honey

Our Wildflower Honey is as pure as it gets, retaining the precious components of raw, natural honey. 

• The honey is extracted by hand from the honey frames with an extractor, using centrifugal force to spin the honey out of the cells. 
• It flows through a fine-medium filter (350 micron), which strains out the larger pieces of wax but allows the pollen to remain. 
• It is left to settle for 24 hours. 
• It is then decanted into jars.

Available in 227g and 454g jars

Our Soft Set Honey is also a raw product, with just a couple more steps in the processing to achieve a gorgeously thick texture, making it perfect for spreading on toast. We use Oilseed Rape honey for our Soft Set, as it has a tendency to crystallise quickly and does not require heating beyond hive temperature, which retains its natural properties. Our Soft Set Honey may be a little more granular than others you have tasted, this is due to the minimal processing we beleive in.

• Soft Set Honey is extracted from the frames in the same way as our Wildflower Honey. 
• After straining through a fine-medium filter (350 micron), the honey is allowed to settle until it crystallises. 
• The honey is then brought back up to hive temperature, and the honey is churned a couple of times to break up the crystals.
• It is then decanted into jars.
